The majority of vehicle manufacturers recommend changing the fluid in automatic gearboxes every 40,000 miles. Automatic gearboxes can be expensive to repairs if they haven’t been maintained correctly, which can lead to mechanical faults developing within the intricate gearing system on modern automatic vehicles.
